Dear Parent/Carer,

Supporting our local community

Wherever possible, it is our duty and a vital part of our Catholic mission to reach out and support our local community. There are a number of ways that we expect our students to do this:

  • Show consideration to others on the way to and from school, including in local shops, and at bus stops.
  • Avoid congregating in groups on the High St and in local areas
  • Be considerate to other local residents by ensuring pavements are kept clear to allow others to pass safely.
  • If you are using public transport, be respectful of other passengers at all times.
  • Disperse quickly from the school site and local area at the end of the school day.
  • Remember that you are ambassadors of the school and the expectation is that you represent the school well at all times.

It is important that students arrive on time to school and that they are in their form rooms at 8.40am.  The school gate closes at 8.40am, any student arriving when the gate is closed must sign in at reception and is late to school.

We will, of course, continue to reiterate these key messages in school and we hope that parents /carers will continue to work in partnership with us in reinforcing these messages at home as well.

Thank you for your continued support.

Yours sincerely,

Dr J Coughlan Principal
