Geography BGT

Thanks to everyone who helped contribute resources, time, energy and effort to make the Geography BGT event on Tuesday in the library a success! The students engaged their creative sides to recreate a Brazilian favela, making the biggest and tallest structure possible complete with windows, makeshift doors and engaging their engineering minds to make them sturdy. They were proud of their creations and their smiling faces say it all!

Videos playing on the projector showed them real life in the favelas and the relevance of the limited materials, limited time and collective collaboration to make their homes.

Thanks to all form tutors and pastoral teams for promoting and to Miss Newton in the Library for accommodating us (and the mess!).
