Dear Parents / Carers,
Independent study support
You will by now have received your son/daughter’s mock exam results. Students have been discussing results with their subject teachers and reflecting on the next steps in their learning journeys.
To strengthen the college - student - home partnership and the support we can offer, we would like to share further details on what your son/daughter can be completing independently, during study periods and at home. The list is a snapshot of where and how students can access subject specific resources. These resources have been available to students over the course of their A-level studies so, for many students, these resources will already be in use. All subject teachers will be more than happy to provide you with more detail if needed.
One of the key factors to effective revision is “little and often”. The independent study resources are there for students to dip in and out of, even when they have shorter periods of time to study.
The resources below complement work set as class and homework. Students can also access resources on exam board websites, in addition to past exam papers they have been provided with by subject teachers. Many students will also have revision guides. |
