Welcome to Bishop Challoner Catholic College

T Levels are a new ‘Technical’ post 16 qualification that combines classroom theory with practical learning and are the equivalent of three A-Levels, over the course of 2 years.  They are developed in collaboration with employers and businesses to prepare students for the workplace.

80% of students’ time is in the classroom and 20% on a 45-day industry placement, with an employer to give students the knowledge and skills needed, in preparation for the working environment.

T Levels are designed with businesses in mind, ensuring the content of T Level courses meets the needs of industries and prepares students for the workplace, offering the knowledge and experience to open the door to employment, further studying at university, or apprenticeships.

In September 2023, Bishop Challoner Catholic College will be offering:

T Level Digital Business Services.  Please see tab above for more information.

Students who complete a T Level receive an overall grade of pass, merit, distinction, or distinction*. They will get a nationally recognised certificate which will show their overall grade and a breakdown of what they have achieved.

Here is a short video about T Levels and why they are a great choice for students:

"I am really excited to see our sixth form provision expanding in this way.  T Levels are going to be an excellent route for students to gain a nationally recognised Level 3 qualifications, whilst gaining valuable workplace experience and skills. I can see this development having huge benefits, not just for our students but for the local businesses who will be working with our talented young people."
