21st June 2022
Dear Parents/Carers,
I am writing to remind you about the Year 12 Parent Consultation Evening, which takes place on Tuesday 5th July from 4pm to 6.30 pm.
The annual Year 12 written report will be issued on this occasion and the evening will also provide an opportunity for you to meet with subject teachers to review your son/daughter’s progress during Year 12, as well as considering any action that needs be taken to prepare for their transition into Year 13. There will be a UCAS information ‘drop-in’ session taking place in the Library during this time, so please do make use of this additional opportunity if you have any questions about the UCAS application process. There will also be a Well-being Team stand, where variety of literature will be available.
As you know, all of Year 12 will be participating in Work Experience Week from 11th to 15th July. On Monday 18th July, Year 12 will be required to attend an important UCAS session for the morning and so all students will need to ensure that they arrive in College for a prompt start at 8.40 am. I would appreciate your support in ensuring that your son/daughter arrives on time for this session. Students will be allowed to leave College at 12 pm on that day and will then attend their normal timetabled lessons until the end of term on Thursday 21st July.
It has been wonderful to see the students’ academic and personal development this year and I look forward to seeing them continue to flourish in Year 13.
Kind regards,
Dr Osborne
Head of Year 12
